Chemist Warehouse Brand Showcase

Chemist Warehouse Brand Showcase

Brand showcase 2022

THE STORY
Chemist Warehouse came to us with one hell of an idea. And from there we designed and executed one hell of an event. The idea was a Brand Showcase, jam packed with our favourite tried, tested and true brands as well as new product launches and plenty of pampering. The event was nothing short of huge. A huge venue. A huge amount of brands, signage, flowers and hours. And of course, a huge success.

THE STAGE
The Timber Yard, Port Melbourne.

THE DESIGN
Our Design Team was given creative freedom from day one *fist pumps*. And we all know that the most unforgettable events are born from the freedom to play and create.

Graphic Design was a major component in this design and filtered out into each individual house. From each house’s custom typography to the curves of the custom-built walls, decals and mirrors - every graphic element was considered and played a part in the overall experience.

Although the graphic details were consistent throughout each house, their individual colour palettes led the way in terms of design, florals and user experience. The cotton candy pinks, bright reds and burgundy pops in House of Cosmetics inspired guests to have fun, have a play and try everything on. House of Skin was designed to evoke a sense of calmness by fusing fresh mint and forest green tones with ivory and almond accents. In House of Wellness guests were surrounded by an abundance of greenery growing around elements of timber, peach and tangerine for a natural aesthetic and sense of health.

THE SCALE
The proof is in the numbers.
6,000sqm of Timber Yard. 57 tradespeople on-site (think builders, riggers, electricians, plumbers and powder coaters). 270 custom signs. 49 custom decals. 475 bunches of flowers. 3 days bumping in. And an unconfirmed number of coffees. It was a jigsaw - but the fun kind. Not the kind that you want to quit and throw across the room (although our Project Manager Alix might disagree).

THE EXPERIENCE
Remember when we mentioned plenty of pampering? Well, every house gave guests the unique opportunity to test luxury products through custom designed activations.

Installed in House of Hair were functioning basins and barber chairs for washing, blow drying and styling (yes please). As guests wandered next-door to House of Skin they were treated to facials and hand massages (we’ll take ten). And to finish off the #lewk, House of Cosmetics offered a menu of premium beauty services: eyebrow lamination, makeup application, manicures and pedicures. Basically, you could have rolled out of bed and into an Uber.
