THE STORY
Surrounded by futuristic clouds, mirrored mountains and gradients of blue hues, Paramount unveiled a raft of new announcements at its 2023 Upfronts event. Aiming to connect beyond the screen, they invited guests to climb the mountain, sit above the clouds and see tomorrow.
THE STAGE
International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Sydney.
THE NICETIES
One by one the familiar faces of Network 10 arrived and began their climb to the top of the mountain (AKA, they rode the custom wrapped escalators). From there, washes of blue reflected off mirrored bars that held custom printed lunch boxes and mints. Iconic character installations stood amongst clouds of florals and hospitality staff wore custom Paramount lapel pins.
THE MAGIC
Inspired by the magic of snow-capped mountains, guests sat above the clouds and experienced uninterrupted views. A freestanding swing structure covered in clouds of hydrangea, gypsophila and dripping amaranthus framed a custom Network 10 neon.
THE DRAMA
Is there anything more dramatic than a 7.2m media mountain on the second storey of a Convention Centre? The custom-built mountain was just that - a mountain. To design, to transport and to build. But you can't get to the top of the mountain without a climb.
