Peter’s 60th

Peter’s 60th

A portrait of Peter

THE STORY
We had the honour of being asked to elevate Peter's 60th and create an unforgettable night for guests, especially as many were travelling for the occasion. We distilled elements of Peter's life story, his hobbies, passions, ideas and numerous accolades to inject his personality throughout the many touchpoints. Luckily for us Peter had done a bunch of cool stuff in his 60 years.

THE STAGE
National Portrait Gallery, Canberra

THE NICETIES
Personalised menus with a heartfelt welcome message from Peter, best said in his own words 'here at the National Portrait Gallery, on special occasions, artists and their major works come together. You are the 'artists' who have made the biggest contribution to the portrait of my life'.

THE PARTY
Once dining and speeches concluded, a supper club was revealed, complete with feature band and dance floor, dessert and cheese station and cocktail bar.

THE DRAMA
A lover of Japan, having spent many years living their and a fluent speaker, we were inspired by all things Japanese, particularly Ikebana - the art of flower arranging. Our interpretation fused a love of Australian flora to create bold, sculptural art-like pieces.
