Katia & Will

Forever Love

THE STORY
Style Co. events don’t just look like you, they feel like you. They’re authentic to who you are and embody all that your story entails. Katia & Will’s love story is elegant and understated, full of warmth and playfulness. Their Big Day was designed to look and feel just like that. Classic in nature with contemporary influences and ornate details, the design felt neat and polished without losing its softness and sense of soul. Clean lines contrasted with black curves and the monochromatic colour palette came to life with playful pops of cherry red.

THE STAGE
Private Property, Bellarine.

THE NICETIES
Nothing sets the scene for forever love like crisp sea breeze and champagne on arrival. Under ivory and sage umbrellas amongst spilling floral gardens of hydrangea, guests sipped on sparkling and soaked up the sunshine. A white marble feature bar sat against the lush hedge lines of Hatrock Winery and drinks were accompanied by cocktail napkins with custom cherry red illustrations. An oyster bar complimented the seaside stage, and the cellar door played host to wine tastings and good conversation.

THE MAGIC
An ivory carpet runner leading to the ceremony deck revealed a wild and unstructured arch of white, ivory and cream roses growing amongst an abundant foliage base. The roses varied organically in shape and size, giving the illusion of a rambling rose garden.

THE DRAMA
From ceremony to reception, magic to drama…
The dining room encompassed all that is elegant and timeless. Champagne gold cutlery, lace trimmed dining plates, hand lettered stationery and crystal cut glassware adorned tables, complemented by extravagantly tall ivory taper candles in rippled glass holders. Weaving effortlessly throughout dining details were single stem roses and vessels filled exclusively with lush white hydrangea. One word: classic. The couple of the hour sat in front of a custom textured sage baffle wall, elevated by a lavish floral installation. Black wave details delivered the drama - featuring across dining chairs and custom feature bars.

THE FEAST
For Katia & Will, it was essential that guests left with bellies as full as hearts. A delicious and inventive menu created by Food & Desire using local Portarlington produce did the trick. Think Portarlington mussels, wood fired lamb, fried sebago potato, crispy barramundi and seared wagyu.

THE PARTY
Where do we start with this party? We swapped a photo moment for a caviar and vodka moment, with a roving trolley dispensed ice cold Belvedere vodka and bumps of Beluga caviar - spooned directly onto the back of guest’s hands. Red love heart sunglasses circulated the dance floor and a wild sparkler send-off wrapped up the party of all parties. “We want our guests to walk away exhausted - with big smiles and full bellies, carrying their shoes." Nailed it.
