Michael’s 60th

Michael’s 60th

Shaken, not stirred

THE STORY
To celebrate Michael’s 60th, guests were granted access to the ultra cool and confidential Club 62. It was everything Michael loves - from the iconic Dr. No film to vintage-inspired stage sets and 60’s design aesthetic. Club 62 was the perfect place for guests to sip on a martini and let their hair down.

THE STAGE
Private property, East Melbourne.

THE NICETIES
This may have been Club 62’s biggest party yet, but it certainly wasn’t its first. Born in ‘62 and hosting his fair share of soirees at house number 62 - a custom Club 62 neon just made sense for Michael.

THE DRAMA
The only way to enter a party? Down an alley, into a lift and down to a basement. Guided by Dr. No with a champagne in hand. Right?

THE MAGIC
Making their way through the golden light and low-lying fog, guests found themselves in a secret cellar door serving up top-shelf liquor and sleight of hand trickery. Impromptu illusions accompanied perfect pours, leaving guests surprised, confused and all boozed up.

THE SPOTLIGHT
The vintage stage design was inspired by the sexiness of 60’s sounds and sets. The edgy quality of saxophones and trumpets pervaded the room and excitement ran rife as guests belted the iconic 60’s anthems.
