L’Oreal Paris Matte Resistance Launch

L’Oreal Paris Matte Resistance Launch

L'Oreal x Chemist Warehouse Matte Resistance Launch

THE STORY
What happens when you put L’Oreal Paris, Restaurant Hubert, and The Style Co and Chemist Warehouse in a room together for one night? Evening de la magnifique. From day one, our vision for L’Oreal’s New Matte Resistance lipstick launch was the ultimate French experience, complete with every lipstick shade under the European sun, passionfruit souffle and a fromagerie for dessert, all tied up with a black satin bow.

THE STAGE
Restaurant Hubert, Sydney

THE DRAMA
Stepping into Restaurant Hubert is like entering the hallowed halls of a Parisian art house theatre; every detail exudes French-inspired elegance. Centre stage on Theatre Royale, plush red velvet curtains pulled back to reveal the beauty bar, and it was a sight to behold. Shades of Matte Resistance lipstick were meticulously placed on colour matched flocked velvet risers. A stunning ombre effect of tonal reflexed roses ran down the table quite literally stealing the show. Exquisite handheld custom mirrors beckoned guests to try on their favourite shade, clink champagne, and perfect their pout.

THE MAGIC
Aside from Hubert's unbelievable menu of martini's, escargots, tartare, and maybe another martini, the magic of the evening was feminine, effortless, and of course glamorous. Speaking of, the four dining tables were almost as glam as the guests, featuring place cards with hand-tied black satin bows, and menus with sophisticated French typography. The night was something so close to perfection it was, how they say, je ne sais quoi.
