We’re big fans of a long lunch, so when the sweetest couple, Lily and Kirit, asked us to be a part of their lunch wedding we were so in!

Stones of the Yarra Valley, was the perfect backdrop for the sophisticated affair.

The serenity of the chapel was beautiful juxtaposed to the wild tall ceremony installation made of seasonal foliage and pops of roses in antique tones.

Over in the Barn, we used the stunning wooden beams to hang garlands of mixed foliage with peach and blush florals, creating a canopy above the centre table.

The abundance of greenery was brought to life against the white linen tablecloths and white bentwood chairs. The tablescape design was complete with the gorgeous alternating floral heavy centrepieces, emerald marble trays, blush napkins and gold feature cutlery.

Outside guests were invited to take a photo against the custom photo booth backdrop or bask in the sunshine on the comfy rattan couches, soaking up the views of the Yarra Valley.

I just want to say, THANK YOU!! though words can not describe how much I appreciate and admire your works, Thank you again for putting together the most amazing wedding Kirit and I have ever seen. Everything looks perfect from the top to to bottom, the flowers were incredible and exceeded our expectations. Zonzo set the spectacular scene for Vanessa & Daniel’s wildly romantic nuptials and Yarra Valley reception. The ceremony styling was simplistically refined to complement the delicate native splendour of the Yarra Glen region. Vows were exchanged in the winery’s unornamented barn, where raw hardwood textures accentuated the luscious green foliage and ivory floral installation that adorned the archway.

Inside, two rows of banquet style tables lined the room to create a playfully light atmosphere where pops of the bright and cheerful colour palette burst throughout the space. The tablescapes were decorated with relaxed floral arrangements that incorporated hues of coral, pink, burgundy and greenery to offset the neutral table settings and dark hardwood tones that surrounded the room. As an ode to their love of classic films, a light box inscribed with ‘You’re The One That I Want’ illuminated the dance floor and created a beautifully moody vibe, along with the cascading festoon lighting above.

The newlyweds treated guests to a few of their delectably adored things, including a champagne station (to ensure hydration we’re told), as well as a custom popcorn station completed with DYI flavouring varieties ranging from truffle and lavender, to smoked bacon *drooling intensifies*, packed perfectly in personalised take-away boxes. And to tickle the sweet tooth, their beautifully designed three-tier hundreds and thousands cake stole the spotlight (if only for a second), because a couple that eats treats together…stays together!

We’re thrilled Vanessa + Daniel trusted us to create this unforgettable moment in their love-story, and we thank them for being a super chill couple and making it a memorable occasion for all involved.

Renae + Joe are pretty much the definition of #relationshipgoals (sorry Kimye.)

While this super laid back and down-to-earth couple only spend precious few moments together each year due to their work commitments, we knew when they gave us the reins to their countryside wedding the challenge wasn’t just to create a special day, but a transcendent memory.

The idyllic Bird in Hand Winery was the breathtaking setting, nestled in the rolling Adelaide hills, surrounded by picturesque vineyards and all-round romantic vibes *swoon*. The ceremony styling was kept simple and elegant to tie in with the natural uninterrupted beauty of the venue. An exposed timber arch adorned with green foliage and white florals greeted the couple at the end of the aisle.

As the sun set on the vineyard, the candlelight and festoon lighting strung over the dinning tables and dance floor instantly created a moody feel. The seating chart gave guests a little glimpse into the garden luxe styling, with beautiful foliage and romantic roses (we’re talking crimson, apricot and blush coloured) draped across stacked 3D gold cubes. Guests were directed to tables that captured the rustic essence of the winery, where grey linen set the tone for gold cutlery and candlestick holders, romantic glass tea lights, green glass goblets and walnut bentwoods to tie in with the oak barrel walls that surrounded the room.

We’re so stoked that the beautiful Renae + Joe gave us their complete trust to pull together this spectacular day, and we thank them for being total legends and making the experience ever-so enjoyable! A shout-out of course goes to the magnificent crew who kept on task despite *literally* being tempted by barrels of wine all day. Seriously, it wasn’t easy!

Our love for weddings is equally matched by our love of a good challenge.

So when Yue & Tao came to us without a venue or a single supplier in mind but with a strong desire to do something breathtakingly beautiful and an unreasonable 4 week lead time, our entire team was challenged to awaken from our cosy winter slumber and design something BIG!! The turn around time was super tight but sometimes to make something big happen you just have to be unreasonable!!

Stones of the Yarra Valley was our venue of choice with its natural beauty, radiant light and those wooden beams *squeal*. The entire room was cleared of all surrounding furniture to allow the focus to be on the central table and installation. The layered installation was created by using 200 individually hand weaved garlands of native foliage and florals. Each garland was suspended from specific heights, framing the guests during their relaxed lunch. The layering continued with the tablescape design, using slate and stone crockery, oatmeal linen napkins, personalised menus and individual succulents. Brushed gold cutlery sat on the exposed timber table with wild native foliage garlands running the entire 12 metre length of the table.

The end result brought our artist bride who always knew she wanted her wedding to be striking yet organic to tears, an achievement well worth the 8 hour bump in. A big thank you to Yue and Tao, for being super chilled human beings, allowing our creative rhythm to flow and our best work to shine. To our team, your talent and passion would be alarming, if it wasn’t so damn consistent – bravo! And to the wonderful team at Stones, it is always a pleasure to have a play date at your place. Thank you for continuously going above and beyond for our couples.

Once Em + Nick found the perfect location for their big day, they couldn’t wait to get us started on designing and neither could we! Em + Nick invited their guests for a weekend of wedding fun at Glen Erin in Lancefield where guests could escape to the countryside and witness these two lovebirds tie the knot.

We covered the venue’s ceiling thick with oak foliage, ivy and ferns and drops of lighting, transforming the space to create an indoor forest feel where Em, Nick and their guests danced the night away!

There are people who come into your life whom you measure all others against. Chloe, our Head Planner is one of these people. Working beside her you quickly realise her passion for weddings isn’t random, it’s her calling.

Meticulously devoted to ensuring our couples enjoy the lead up to the big day and then have the most memorable day ever is something she does with an unwavering ease, inherent elegance and with a heart full of bona fide joy. Like we said, it’s her calling.

So when Chloe began to plan her big day we all knew it was going to be extraordinary. The design brief was to create a Mediterranean getaway in the picturesque Mornington Peninsula. We took the beautiful vineyard of Manton’s Creek Estate combined it with unruly arrangements of greenery and hot pink blooms, weaved a fig scent ( RIP to the many fig candles who did not survive Chloe’s stringent selection process) and added an open air dance floor to create a relaxed mood that quickly resonated with every guest.

It was an amazing day, rich with meaningful details that didn’t outshine their love but instead celebrated the eleven years of effortlessness that they had shared together. They wanted their guests to join in their celebrations and party like nobody’s business!!

A big thank you to the amazing suppliers; Tommy Collins Catering, Dann Event Hire, Erin & Tara Photography, Humdrum Films, Rutherford Entertainment and The Marquee People who went above and beyond to ensure that James & Chloe’s big day was nothing less than perfect.

Once we discovered that Nadia and Jimmy were engaged in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, we knew we had to recreate a ‘getaway’ experience for their guests. It seemed so fitting given Nadia & Jimmy’s relaxed and down to earth nature.

This is what our team have designed for their day:

The ceremony, a classic elegant feel with a neutral colour palette that sat harmoniously against the ripe green vines at BAIE Wines.

Post ceremony, it’s time to grab a drink and mingle! The Style Co team created a relaxed lounge setting under the Peppercorn tree fitted out with its own cocktail bar and brightly coloured blooms, the perfect setting for guests be treated to refreshing Mint & Lychee Coolers and Pina Coladas served by the oh-so-cool Tommy Collins crew, dressed in rolled up cinos and open collared shirts.

The guests were then ushered to the marquee for dinner. A glam resort feel with sea views to match.
The guests were welcomed into a clear marquee with a stunning roof installation created by The Style Co.’s florists; an unstructured mass of delicate foliage and white seasonal flowers cascaded down and complimented the three long tables set for their inner circle of family and friends.

The Style Co. florists used 450 bunches of green foliage, over 980 bunches of flowers including Hydrangrea, David Austin roses, Lisianthus, Amy Lou roses, and over 200 stems of Phalaenopsis orchids.

Nadia and Jimmy had their first dance on the open air dance floor under the stars and strung lights. Resort style lounges and cocktail tables offered guests a comfortable seat and a place to rest their drinks as they danced. No wedding in complete without a fully stocked outdoor bar decked out with more gorgeous floral arrangements.

We calculated The Style Co. planning, design and floral team would have clocked over 900 hours of planning, designing, prepping, floral arranging, setting up and packing down by the end of the wedding.

It was epic, and definitely one of our favourite weddings we’ve ever created.
