Lets talk flowers! Majority of our couples love to add flowers to their wedding tables and of course The Style Co. loves it too. We source fresh and in season Melbourne foliage and flowers on a weekly basis!

Destination weddings call for wow factor! So when Jess + Jeff approached us to create their big day here in Oz we jumped for joy! With a design brief of a relaxed, modern, Australian getaway vibe we looked no further than Cloverdel, situated in Victoria’s ridiculously picturesque countryside.

There’s no surprise, that when you’re working with foodies who have their own organic food business back home, that a ‘farm-to-table’ concept was inevitably high up on the list. So the couple enlisted the catering geniuses over at Food and Desire to bring this concept to life.

Positioned underneath the willow trees by the lake, Jess and Jeff’s ceremony backdrop grew ground up. Ivory toned florals, soft textured pampass grass, and pops of blue delphinium all nestled amongst cascading wild foliages. Picture perfect!

Guests then moved into the pre dinner drinks space where a seating chart of stacked fruit crates overflowing with fresh herbs and florals sat pretty in the garden while guests sipped on cocktails, devoured canapes and casually made friends with the wombats and wallabies in the Australian native petting zoo. Yeah, you heard us. “What’s an Australian vacay without a petting zoo right?”

Contemporary furniture pieces were selected to compliment the modern Australian design.

Layered raw sandstone was the base for our textured tablescapes. A bed of earthy moss and native foliages were teamed with them hopelessly-romantic, dusty pink roses and dancing florals.

The epic custom 5-metre linear rope installation took centre stage, surrounded by rolling dunes of moss, florals and trees creating the ultimate pop up garden!

It was a party of epic proportions and a total memory-maker for Jess, Jeff and all their family and friends. Thank you Jess & Jeff for trusting us with your big day we had a ball!

Laura and Ben’s big day was one achingly cool celebration. Their design brief came directly from brief heaven; take two iconic Brisbane venues (neither traditional wedding spaces) pair that with a Pinterest board that’s bursting with travel, music, design inspo (not a single wedding reference) then add two chilled human beings who trust what you do and are keen to push the boundaries – winning!

Powerhouse’s stunning sky high concrete walls were the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. Crisp white bentwood chairs were placed in a semi circle to create an intimate setting. We lined the aisle with a thick runner of lush foliage and pampas grass that continued up into an asymmetrical free standing frame.

Laura and Ben’s local live music venue, The Triffid was completely transformed for the evening. On arrival guests were invited to grab a keepsake from the fully stocked merch stand complete with L + B mugs, t-shirts, posters and caps!

The feature welcome sign was a free standing blush rendered wall with brushed copper laser cut letters that extended out through the wild greenery.
A mix of grey concrete and blush bricks were layered on the guest tables with moody, hand painted florals dripping over, black dinner candles added a hint of romance.

In true ‘muso’ spirit, we knew the stage design had to be a feature. Custom designed artwork inspired by Laura’s many pins of abstract, dripping paint designs were printed on three 5m long canvas banners and were the backdrop to the neon centrepiece that read ‘You Me Oui’. We then framed this massive stage with two epic walls of wild foliage and branches.

Hats off to Laura and Ben who didn’t let the distance between Brisbane and Melbourne get in the way of our love affair. We love our road trips and this one will forever be one of our faves!

Spring is our favourite season for outdoor festivities…and plenty of wine. So when the delightful Clover + Zhe decided to incorporate the two into their truly luxe celebration, of course we were in!

Nestled in the scenic Yarra Valley region, Coombe Melba Estate was the divine backdrop to this countryside soiree. The ceremony styling was kept simplistic, the aisle was decorated with native shrubbery, and at the end, a statuesque custom-built archway greeted the bride and groom. The wood paneled feature was detailed in a lattice design, and elegantly adorned with greenery and pops of white and coral roses arranged to form the letter Z as a sneaky shout out to our newlyweds.

Guests were invited to indulge in pre-dinner drinks in a contemporary laid-back outdoor lounge area complete with assorted seating furniture, festoon lighting and a custom white bar that was decorated with florals and wild foliage to add a voluminous quality to the space. Inside, banquet tables were adorned with colourful loose floral centerpiece arrangements raised by white steel hexagons plinths at varying heights to create a delicate dimension. Above, a linear ceiling installation decorated with flowers and foliage was suspended at differing levels to add depth and continuity throughout the space. And of course, an honorable mention goes to our favourite bar of all…the dessert bar! An array of handcrafted desserts including cakes, doughnuts and cookies were served from a geo herringbone station was the sweetest touch to these unforgettable nuptials, thanks Treats for Eve for all the deliciousness!

We truly believe that a party isn’t quite complete without these essentials; love, individuality, and of course, free-flowing cocktails. Delightedly, Carolyn + Craig thought exactly that, with their exquisitely unrefined celebrations delivering an abundance of fun and frivolity.

A beautifully tranquil property in country NSW was the poetic surrounding to this epic extravaganza that celebrated not only a 50th birthday, but also a 60th birthday and wedding (yep, you read correctly). But, being the party people we are, we couldn’t wait to throw our hands in the air like we just didn’t care! The styling for Carolyn + Craig’s teeming festivity exemplified awe-inspiring natural beauty. Understated collided with totally chilled vibes, and effortlessly married lush country landscapes with innate colours and textures drawn from an earthy palette.

A monumental deck design, equipped with an in-build bar + food station that featured 360 degree access was the vivid centerpiece to the revelry. Its organic reclaimed timber texture brought an authentically rustic quality to the design, and accentuated the vibrant greenery and floral arrangements that embellished it.

Above, a superbly voluminous canopy of wild native foliage and branches intertwined with rope detailing created a rugged, moody feel.

As an ode to Carolyn + Craig’s beloved horses, a second custom bar – because one sometimes isn’t enough – was dedicated to their precious Willy + Rosie. The high stable bar, complete with gold hinging and beautiful cascading foliage, met with luscious floral tablescape arrangements and tea lights to create the ultimate ‘sipping on delicious cocktails’ atmosphere.

With the afternoon sun casting a radiant light through the transparent marquee, guests were invited to kick back on the wooden pallet couches and soft furnishings of neutral suede pillows, ahead of a very special on stage performance. Enhanced with vibrant crimson arrangements and unruly native greenery cascading down the wall, the stage was a perfectly decorated setting for the insanely talented Wendy

Matthews band. As the sun set, the marquee opened up to a quaint lake view lounge, lit up by draped festoon lighting that angelically reflected off the water in the evening.

We couldn’t be happier for Carolyn + Craig celebrating these symbolic milestones, and we thank you for your trust, and for being as lovely and sweet as the loot bags.

And of course, hi-fives all-round to the extraordinary crew who *literally* turned the party WAY up to unimaginable heights!

Sarah + Nick’s wedding included some of our favourite things, green goblets + bold colours + striking patterns + creative freedom (woo hoo!) and best of all.. a super fun couple… And we’re not just referring to Sarah’s moves on the dance floor!

Carousel, Albert Park was the perfect location for this beautiful wedding to take place.

Sarah + Nick loved being apart of the designing process, they trusted our crazy ideas and love for making patterns bolder and colours louder.

The tables were striking with arrangements of dalias, garden roses, smoke bush, jasmine, privet berry, amanthis and fresh figs. And our key piece, the fern installation above the dance floor with gold painted hanging pendant lights… yep, one of our faves!

Once Em + Nick found the perfect location for their big day, they couldn’t wait to get us started on designing and neither could we! Em + Nick invited their guests for a weekend of wedding fun at Glen Erin in Lancefield where guests could escape to the countryside and witness these two lovebirds tie the knot.

We covered the venue’s ceiling thick with oak foliage, ivy and ferns and drops of lighting, transforming the space to create an indoor forest feel where Em, Nick and their guests danced the night away!

From the minute we stepped onto the thousand-acre Mingela Homestead, we knew it was going to be an unforgettable marquee wedding for Soodi and Nick.

This clear marquee housed the dinner showing off a spectacular view of the valley. Then the party kicked in with a playlist of Soodi & Nick’s fave tunes.

So many of their guests were from different corners of the world so they were determined to show them a day (and night) they would never forget!

Natasha & James big day took place at Circa, The Deck.

They both knew they wanted something a bit classic mixed with something a little different in a stunning colour palette of soft pinks, greens and rich burgundy. So we decided to blend a modern geometric feel with soft florals, add in the glorious Melbourne weather and it’s no wonder that Tash, James and their loved ones were partying the night away.

Our gorgeous Hong Kong based couple wanted to visually treat their guests to the spectacular Yarra Valley so of course Stones of the Yarra Valley was the pick of the bunch.

Whilst embracing the natural rustic charm of the venue, Aria wanted to fuse a little bit of the city so we replaced the chairs with white bentwood’s and introduced silver grey linen, creating a crisp base that complimented the delicate greenery and seasonal white florals.

The custom geometric screen echoed their invitation pattern and was our entrance feature for the dining room. Custom table stationery and staggered pendant lights were also added to create a modern yet welcoming feel.

And there’s nothing more welcoming than a cosy lounge so we created this gorgeous little nook on the outside terrace, and for the discerning gentlemen (and women), a fine whisky bar was on offer ensuring the festivities continued all night long!
