WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?
At The Style Co we love meeting and hearing couples stories and developing relationships with our clients. It’s these stories that inspire us and help us create an event that our clients will love. I also love developing something from scratch and seeing it all come to fruition.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?
My style is really in the extra details. I love to add details to a wedding or event that tell a story and get people talking. I’m not really into large productions and crazy lighting effects etc. My style is more understated.
WHAT MAKES THE STYLE CO DIFFERENT TO OTHER WEDDING STYLISTS?
I have a team of young, passionate and slightly quirky creatives with a background in graphic design, fashion and interiors. We have a fresh outlook on events and have our own way of doing things. We don’t follow ‘trends’ as such, it’s all about the couple and creating a different experience for their family and friends. We don’t follow any standard formula and we don’t just use flowers to dress up a space. Everything is designed, made and sourced around the initial concept and colour palette that we create for our couples at the start, from invitations, flowers, tables, props, guest favours and even down to the bridal fashion.
WHAT TRENDS ARE POPULAR AT THE MOMENT?
More people are looking for stylish weddings that reflect their personalities. Traditions are still followed but couples put their own little spin on things.

Just to know that they loved everything!
Have a clear vision of what you want before booking venues and suppliers. Decide on the style/theme and the atmosphere you would like to create. Collect some inspiration photos, colours, flowers, etc. to get a clear image of the styling you like and work backwards from there. Base all of your decisions, including the venue on your vision.
