samantha + daniel marquee wedding, botanical gardens
In front of the beautiful Ornamental Lake, Samantha & Daniel’s guests indulged in pre-ceremony bubbles served from a classic white wood paneled bar that was coolly shaded by unruly native trees on this balmy spring afternoon. At the lakes edge, simplistic styling incorporating a natural colour palette brought a touch of luxe to the breathtaking city garden backdrop. A statuesque timber archway densely adorned with ivory roses and foliage effortlessly adapted into the charming surrounds of the Royal Botanic Gardens.
Guests were invited to relax for pre-dinner drinks at the gorgeous marble bar, adorned with floral arrangements and flickering tea lights to tie in with the romantically lustful marquee tablescapes. Inside the clear roof marquee, a suspended gold cage ceiling installation decorated with dense greenery and whimsical white and blush toned flowers created a striking focal point for the bridal party who sat beneath. The tables were kept classic with soft grey linen to create a neutral canvas for pops of gold brushed cutlery, charcoal napkins and bespoke blush and marble textured menus. Loosely structured florals and greenery in glass vessels perfectly completed the reception tabletops with soft scattered delicacy.
We’re insanely stoked for Samantha + Daniel, and we thank you for giving us your trust and support, all while being extremely awesome and laidback. Also, a huge thank you goes to the lovely staff at Blakes Feast for allowing us to make this vision a truly momentous reality.
