Work Experience @ The Style Co

We receive work experience applications quite regularly and love having enthusiastic students on board. If you have a background in events, visual merchandising or graphic design, please forward your resume and folio to jobs@thestyleco.com.au. Please let us know the hours you require and keep in mind, there will be many saturdays and sundays involved.

What do we look for?
At The Style Co, we look for people that are eager to learn, have a great work ethic, take pride in their work and can get tasks done.... All with a smile!
We believe in creativity, thinking outside the square and of course, the details! Your application at a minimum should include a resume and folio and should demonstrate a passion and an understanding of what we do and the industry. Remember... if it doesn't stand out, it may get lost in the crowd.

Event Stylist/Co-ordinator (expressions of interest)

If you're a mega talented event stylist with an eye of detail and a creative streak with unique ideas we would love to hear from you!

You will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Design amazing events with a given budget and different styles
  • Be an extremely hard and dedicated worker that is not afraid to get their hands a little dirty
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Have amazing customer service skills
  • Must be extremely organised!

Wedding Invitation All rounder! (expressions of interest)

The Style Co. is a creative wedding and events design studio, focusing on events and stationery with details. At The Style Co. we believe that passion and personality is what makes you stand out from the rest.

The Style Co. has an exciting position available for a Wedding Invitation all rounder with Sales/Customer Service skills - able to meet with clients and design their stationery suite.

You must be bubbly, energetic, super organised, flexible and have the patience of a saint! - you will be an integral part of our team.

You will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Sales/customer service skills - we're all about relationship building!
  • Intermediate competency in Illustrator
  • Time management skills and can work under pressure
  • Motivated and show initiative (a must!)
  • Work super fast while paying close attention to detail
  • Be flexible and be willing to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Maintain and follow up on stock and inventory
  • Place orders with suppliers and maintain supplier database
  • Assist in styling jobs or other parts of the business when required

Initially working casually two to three days a week, we're looking for someone who will eventually be able to work full time.
