i do what i love, i love what i do

i get asked all the time what its really like to be an event stylist.

it's 5am starts and 5am finishes. sleep deprivation for days on end.

it's meeting the most beautiful couples you can imagine.

it's working in 40 degree heat or in the pouring rain and everything in between.

it's heavy lifting, cuts, bruises, sunburn. its climbing stairs, ladders and trees.

it's playing with flowers, fabrics, timber, textures.

it's driving a 1 tonne van around.

it's working with other creatives in the industry. its having the best team with you.

it's putting my passion, creativity, heart and soul into a design.

it's pushing the boundaries.

it's months of planning, only hours to put together and minutes to tear down.

it's getting to know our clients, turning them into friends and creating something truly amazing for them.

it's the look on a bride's face as she walks in.

it's when its all finished, i stand back and am proud of what we've created.

it's at that point that i know it was all worth it. there is nothing else i'd rather do.

i do what i love. i love what i do.

Bec's floral Chandelier...

Last year, The Style Co. design a 5 tier floral chandelier made from fluffy white hydrangra, peonies, and flickering candles.

It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

Thanks Katie, you (and your team) are a superstars!

Road trip to Sorrento!

The Style Co. made an overnight trip down to Sorrento and had a ball setting up Mandi and Andrew's beach side wedding at the Sorrento Baths. With the bay as an amazing backdrop, The Style Co set up mandi's cocktail party inside the venue, on the beach and up to the pier!

Some of our favourite features were the lanterns scattered throughout the beach and pier which lit the surrounds, Emma's fantastic ribbon wall and a tiered cheese cake. Stay tuned for the final photos :)
