Renae + Joe are pretty much the definition of #relationshipgoals (sorry Kimye.)

While this super laid back and down-to-earth couple only spend precious few moments together each year due to their work commitments, we knew when they gave us the reins to their countryside wedding the challenge wasn’t just to create a special day, but a transcendent memory.

The idyllic Bird in Hand Winery was the breathtaking setting, nestled in the rolling Adelaide hills, surrounded by picturesque vineyards and all-round romantic vibes *swoon*. The ceremony styling was kept simple and elegant to tie in with the natural uninterrupted beauty of the venue. An exposed timber arch adorned with green foliage and white florals greeted the couple at the end of the aisle.

As the sun set on the vineyard, the candlelight and festoon lighting strung over the dinning tables and dance floor instantly created a moody feel. The seating chart gave guests a little glimpse into the garden luxe styling, with beautiful foliage and romantic roses (we’re talking crimson, apricot and blush coloured) draped across stacked 3D gold cubes. Guests were directed to tables that captured the rustic essence of the winery, where grey linen set the tone for gold cutlery and candlestick holders, romantic glass tea lights, green glass goblets and walnut bentwoods to tie in with the oak barrel walls that surrounded the room.

We’re so stoked that the beautiful Renae + Joe gave us their complete trust to pull together this spectacular day, and we thank them for being total legends and making the experience ever-so enjoyable! A shout-out of course goes to the magnificent crew who kept on task despite *literally* being tempted by barrels of wine all day. Seriously, it wasn’t easy!

We had almost completely forgotten about how madly we love winter weddings. Luckily, the gorgeous Kate + Nick reminded us exactly how incredible it is to embrace the season with their beautifully subdued winter nuptials.

As always, Carousel, Albert Park created the perfect backdrop to compliment a wildly romantic colour palette that truly captured the essence of Melbourne’s winters. The space oozed refined luxury with muted hues that included soft grey linen as the canvas, accentuating the gold cutlery and black tapered candles to create a classic and intimate table setting. Subtle warmth was incorporated into the design through rich timber, leather, lush fur and dreamy flickering candlelight.

Luscious foliage reinforced the linear feel and created a softness as the installation canopied over the dance floor. Just before busting out their best moves, a sophisticated moody lounge was revealed, inviting guests to indulge in the flowing whisky being poured from the custom geo herringbone bar.

A huge thank you to the lovely newlyweds for being so trusting and teaching us that whisky is ALWAYS a good idea. Bravo to our amazing crew whose passion, creativity and enthusiasm is a little something like magic.

So it happened again… another Creative Business + Styling workshop done and dusted. Last weekend was jam packed with creative minds buzzing, drinks flowing and food indulging.

We are so lucky to have the opportunity to share our past and present adventures with so many like-minded creatives.
