Hey friends,

As we gear up for a new event season we got reminiscing and thought we’d share with you some of our fave memories from our last season.

On our not-so-secret quest to free the world of chair covers & sashes we’ve had the honour of working with the type of clients some can only dream of, suppliers who embrace our craziness and an outrageously committed and talented crew.

Thank you to all of you who support us and rejuvenate our creative souls daily!

Lookout Spring/Summer….we’re coming for you!

Big love,

Marie + Sarah and The Style Co. team xx

Last weekend we held our second Creative Business + Styling workshop… the last one was a heap of fun so couldn’t wait to do it all over again!

An eclectic bunch of creatives descended upon our new HQ on a sunny Melbourne Saturday.

On day one these florists, stylists, designers and up & comers nutted out the fundamentals of creative business, how to make magic and how to make money doing it. Marie + Sarah gave everyone a backstage pass into The Style Co. First, The Style Co. story from it’s beginnings to it’s growing pains, high highs to now and future plans. Our new HQ has never looked better with the help from Dann Event Hire.

We covered branding, our mistakes and lessons learned, developing your ideas, concept creation and hot tips and tricks

Our lucky attendees were caffeinated and fuelled by the boys at Tommy Collins, refreshed by the beautiful Finn Pressed Juice, hydrated by elegant antipodes water and liquored up with cheeky Fog City sangria.

Day two took place at Circa on their stunning deck. Marie + Sarah, when through an entire concept and how the team brought it to life. After a bit of floral play, we all sat down to Circa’s mouth-watering menu (and more than a little champagne and wine)

Thanks to our generous friends.. our lucky attendees headed home with a beautiful scented Ecoya candle, custom pencils made just for us by Ingrained, a delightful Myrtle and Moss hand cream, motivating postcard from Press Print Digital, stunning silk Indus scarf, a collection of paper treats form The Paper Empire, stylish notebook form Inky Co., guilt free indulgent Pana Chocolate, a very handy Whileaway Guide, adorable Paper hearts form Alex Mae and a copy of the ever inspiring HOORAY! Mag.

Thank you to all of our friends for letting as show off your amazing products. We love what you do and not afraid to share it!

We feel so lucky to get to share our knowledge and experience with others trying to make it happen in the crazy world of being creative. These workshops are an amazing opportunity for us to connect and create a community that work together.

We cannot wait for our final Melbourne workshop for 2014 in October! Hope to see some of you lovelies there!

To our interstate friends.. dates being released this week (yay!)
